Hi, all,

So... I wake up in the middle of the night with my tongue plastered to the roof of my mouth, my nose feeling like it has been baked in a blast furnace, my eyelids on strike and my skin feeling like one good sneeze and I would explode into a giant cloud of dust.

This requires me fumbling half asleep to squirt some lubricant into my eyes (my eye brows got a good dose as well since I had bad aim) then the saline mist up the nose (coooold, who knew you could get an ice cream headache from that stuff) then sipping warm water before sucking a glycerin swab (why can't they make them taste better?)

While all this was going on I was filling the bathroom with steam and setting up for a good slathering with lotion.

When I was done I left the bathroom feeling like I might be able to get back to sleep as I made the mistake of looking in the mirror...

I was orange!!! I am talking day-glo here... and to top off the glamorous look my hair had a rabid case of steam frizz that was epic.

The hubby heard my little yelp and came in then burst out laughing... seems I accidentally grabbed the bronzing cream instead of the hydrating cream and had dyed myself.

As he left for work this morning he told me "that reminds me... I need to get some orange juice today" then made a quick exit.

So... if you see an orange woman with frizzy hair in a wheelchair chasing a man down the street pelting him with orange juice bottles that will be me!

Okay, altogether now -- group hug!

Ouch!! Sweet, you stepped on my foot with your ski boot and Penny, that crunch was my back going out. Next time can we make it a Virtual Group Hug instead? Yikes, now where did I put my heating pad?

Hey, what is that orange blob with frizz on the ground?

Oh my goodness, Sweet -- that's Penny, we forgot to put her back in the wheelchair!

Sweet, Sweet, where are you? I see your footprints in the snow. Ah c'mon Sweet you have to help me here, my back is out.

Oh, you were just showing the EMT's where the body is, uh, I mean, where Penny is?

Well then YOU explain Her Great Orangeness before they sign her up for a liver transplant! I'm outta here...

Hey Penny,

What a riot. Your husband sounds like a real gem. A keeper! I have a bad headcold so I needed a good laugh!

Cher, I think you misspelled something. It's a "bab hebdold". Who's hogging the tissue box?!

Virtual group hug (and Cher, it's either you or all of us wearing masks! Your choice... )

:D Gives everyone a gentle citris hug. (sorry about the clothes, this stuff comes off on everything)

I have been laughing all day, there is nothing like turning yourself into a giant tangerine to get some perspective and no better medicine than sharing laughter with friends!

Oh, Penny!!

There is nothing in the world better than reading your posts when I need a big mental boost.

You make me laugh until I cry!

One fragrant hug to another!
