Well, I have survived the next round of tests! The swallowing one was unpleasant, but doable. So the radiology tech walked me through the echocardiogram. He checked heart, lungs and kidneys - all are in great shape. No thickening or high pressure at all. Feels like a huge weight has just been lifted. I don't have the results of the swallowing test yet. That tech was not as kind and knowledgeable as the echo guy was. Anyways, I suspect there are more GI tests coming. Another day to celebrate!

Hi Jill,

That's really wonderful news! Time for the happy dance, for sure.

So what are you going to do to celebrate? :)

So happy to hear the news. I am facing many of the same tests. I am a little nervous about my upcoming barium swallow so it's good to hear you survived yours;)

It is wonderful when you get lucky and have a knowledgeable and kind health care worker-it can make the difference between a good and bad experience that is for sure.

Hi Jill,
Great news!! Knowing that you have all of these tests scheduled can be very stressful all the way until you receive the results. Please keep us posted on the swallowing study results.

Hi Jill

I'm happy for you too, fantastic news!

Mona, don't worry about the barium, you'll do just fine, too!
Sending good wishes your way!
