Birdman is having a rough weekend, soaring temps, joint pain, his back went out. We are in constant contact with his doctor, and he started him on an antibiotic. Anyway he has found a spot on his leg about 1 inch long (oblong) it just popped up, he says it is painful. Anyone ever have this, or know what it is?

Thanks
BMW

Hi Birdman's wife,

I think you are going to need to call his doctor asap or get him to an emergency room or something because it could possibly be an allergic reaction to the medications or a blood clot or some such thing. The professionals need to evaluate this asap.

Please let us know how it turns out!

Thank you for all of your replies, Birdman did go to the doctor, we are not sure if we are dealing with an infection, a reaction to his medications, or if his sclero has gone vascular. We are waiting for blood test and biopsies to come back. He broke out in a terrible rash, the doctors are doing biopsies His fever was terribly high, the doctors gave him IV fluids, because he was dehydrated. Thanks for all of the support, I'll keep you posted.

Dear Birdman's Wife,

I'm so relieved that you took him to the doctor for this! I'm sorry that he is so sick and that things are still so up in the air. But at least they have started to try to figure it out now.

Please give Birdman an extra warm hug, just from me!

Thank you, BMW for letting us know what you know so far.

I, too, am relieved that Birdman was seen by a dr and surely do hope for a speedy recovery from this most recent turn!

Keeping you both in my thoughts.
