I'm new to website and forum, thought I would introduce myself. I'm 34 years old and was diagnosed 5 years ago with morphea. It was pretty much localized to one area but till recently gotten worse in the last year. It's been something I hadn't dealt with because of other serious health issues. Now can't do that. It's like multi tasking illnesses which to deal with first. Scared, frustrated and guess just needed to vent a bit.

Tarkie,
Welcome Darlin'! I'm glad you have joined us but sorry to read that your morphea is acting up again. Sounds like you're dealing with lots of things. Many, if not most of us, certainly understand the multitasking of illnesses.

Have you visited our morphea page? You might take a look. There may be some new treatments that you weren't aware of. Have you seen your doctor about the changes your experiencing? Please don't let things go too far.

Look forward to learning more about you.

Big Hugs,

Hello and thank you for response and welcome. No I hadn't read that page yet but will. I have hydrocephalus and have a double shunt system. They just failed in January and were revised after 12.5 years. I have a appointment next week with doctor about my morphea.
