I was prescribed this by my GI doctor and am not sure if I want to add one more med to my pill collection. He is using it to treat my autoimmune liver disease.

Has anyone here tried it, and had success or side effects?

I look foward to hearing your thoughts on this.

Thank you,

Hi Erin,

I don't have any direct experience with this drug, but hopefully someone else will and will chime in. However, it is a glucocorticoid steroid and all the warnings about steroid risks would apply, I think. Has your doctor offered you any alternatives?

It sounds like you're faced with another one of those risk/benefit conundrums that they pass out so freely to us autoimmune folks.
