Today at work I was talking to one of the girls in her office. She said that I looked different. I asked her what she meant and she said, "Now you don't have to tell me, but did you have some work done? You look younger!" I started laughing so hard! My skin is getting a little taught, so I guess that is a good effect! LOL

I'm getting comments like that at work too - I've lost about 30 lbs over the past year due to GI problems (I think some coworkers are suspecting I had a gastric bypass!), my face and hands are much less wrinkled, and I've been putting on foundation makeup on my face now because of the increased telangiectasia. I'm turning 50 this summer and people are telling me I look better than ever! LOL

Hey, when life hands you lemons, you don't have to make lemonade. You can make a luscious 3 layer lemon cake! :D

I spoke to a lady with sclero aged 40ish and due to tight skin she said she looked like she'd had a breast lift as the girls were back to being at full attention, all day everyday!

There's always an upside!

Hi Teresa,

Congrats on the free sclero face lift!

I'm truly expecting a ton of wrinkles to sprout any day now. I figure, even a sclero face lift can't last past 60, can it? However, I think my somewhat wrinkle-free appearance is due more to the old line, "After 40, face or figure."

Oh well, you can't win 'em all!

I lost the face and the figure. Double trouble. I am getting softer skin now though. I have a couple forehead wrinkles and a few at the corners of my eyes that I never have had. So my tight skin isn't going to last forever.
Now, about the luscious 3 layer lemon cake. Sounds wonderful. Find a great recipe and put it in our sclero kitchen for all to enjoy. I am getting hungry for a mouth watering lemon dessert.

You know I've heard a few of you talk about this, that is ONE symptom I wouldn't mind having! :) But not yet for me. I'm looking my age unfortunately. B)

This is a good one!

Hubby and I had photos taken and the lady asked if we would like the "touch up" and we agreed.
You know... we really don't notice much difference between the two photos! :D
