Hi Amanda

Was it you a while back that said interstitial cystitis (IC) is an autoimmune disease? I was always under the impression it was still sitting on the fence (my sister has a severe case of it)? If it was you....can you tell me where you found that information please? I would be interested in that reading. Thank you!
Sending good wishes your way!

Hello Snowbird

I'm so sorry I don't remember who told me, my diagnosis was 4 years ago. I, like yourself, went on the internet and found autoimmune interstitial cystitis (IC) that can be caused by scleroderma, fibromyalgia and lupus. When I was diagnosed with IC I also had the beginnings of scleroderma but obviously didn't know it.

I hope this helps and take care.

Hi Snowbird,

We have a page on our main site about Interstitial Cystitis (IC). I also have that, among many other things.

See: Interstitial Cystitis by ISN.

Hi snowbird!

The IC Network also has a lot of information. When my IC was really bad I was on their site everyday!
Hope that helps...

Nina
