Hi is it possible to get a infection under the finger nail not sure how I got it painful to touch could it be the start of a ulcer hugs Lynn

I also experienced infections under my fingernails. My Rheumatologists have all said that it's from the lack of circulation to the fingertips. I have severe Raynauds.

Not sure about the ulcer part, but you can get an infection there. That happened to someone I knew as a result of a cut with a utensil during a manicure. Try to get it looked at soon.
I may have Scleroderma, but Scleroderma doesn't have me!
