I was diagnosed with Morphea two years ago. I'm 33 years old (female). I have a patch of morphea on my chest. Around the same time I was diagnosed I started to have numbness in my arms, legs and face. I find it hard to use my fingers (doing up buttons, dropping things). I also have had burning sensations in my arms. MS has been ruled out, but they are not sure why I have these other symptoms. They don't think it is related to the Morphea. I have been to every type of doctor out there and no one can help me.

Has anyone with Morphea had any of these symptoms? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Take care!

Hi Molly,

I don't happen to have Morphea. However, it is possible this may well be something else, as was mentioned to you.

Of course, I'm not a dr, but you may want to see a neurologist, I would think.

Please keep us posted on how you're doing?

Hi Molly,

Welcome to the Forum! I also don't have morphea, but we do have a number of members who have that form. Hopefully some of them will see your post and be able to comment. In the meantime, have you explored the Morphea page? We also have a section of personal stories about morphea and you might also find something if you search in the Forum. All you need to do is type "morphea" in yellow search box in the upper right of this page in the purple tool bar.

I hope you will post often and get to know many new friends.

Best wishes,

Hi Molley, I also have morphea and have the same symptoms you do. My doctors don't think its related either, but I haven't gotten an answer yet. My morphea started in may 07. I dont have an answer for you , my symptoms come and go, sometimes worse then others. I have alot of skin involvement, generalized morphea. I know I have a good doctor (scleroderma specialist)They dont seemed to concerned, maybe because I don't have raynauds or other more serious complications. I get worried sometimes that it is more then what it is, but till it manifests itself in other ways I try to remain calm but alert to symptoms I have read about here. At least you know what to watch for. In my mind, I do believe it is the morphea because I didn't have any of these things till that hit. But who knows. I know thats not much help, but I know exactly what your talking about. Sharon
