If you visit Sclero Forums online (some people primarily just read the email posts), you'll see that we have created a new Welcome forum.

Our Welcome forum introduces new members to our guidelines and provides additional tips on posting, to help everyone get off to a good start. After several successful posts in the Welcome forum, people then "graduate" into being able to post in any of our other forum categories.

When you stop by the Welcome forum to greet new members, it would be nice to include a question with your post, to help them get through their first few messages. When they graduate, the entire thread will be moved into their new primary forum (such as Main, U.K. or Undiagnosed), so your thoughtful greetings will follow right along and you won't need to greet them yet again, although I'm sure congratulations on their graduation will always be welcome.

The Welcome forum is designed to discourage malicious users (such as internet trolls) and to bolster the training so that genuine new members can post with more confidence and with less reliance on moderator edits to comply with all the Sclero Forums Guidelines. It's also where we file our FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) so it is a good place to visit both to welcome newcomers and to refresh ourselves on policies and such.
Warm Hugs,
