Hi everyone,

The other day I was on my computer when I got a frantic phone call from my downstairs neighbor, whose hard drive suddenly died as she was rushing to meet a work deadline. I had one to meet myself, but I grabbed my laptop so that I could look up possible fixes for her computer on-line, and ran downstairs. On the way down I thought, irrationally, I hope whatever she has isn't contagious! You guessed it--the minute I put my computer down next to hers, mine died too.
