Raynaud's disease can leave skin cold, numb. The most common form of the disorder, called primary Raynaud's, has no underlying cause or associated medical condition. Another form, often referred to as Raynaud's phenomenon, is brought on by another illness or condition like scleroderma, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, smoking and certain medications, to name a few.
