This website is operated by the nonprofit International Scleroderma Network (ISN). We are a public 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our worldwide mission is research, support, education and awareness for scleroderma and related illnesses.

The International Scleroderma Network (ISN) offers memberships. Email or postal members receive our quarterly ISN newsletter. We solicit and accept donations.

ISN past or present affiliates include Amazon, Medifocus, and Google AdSense, and so forth. All affiliate commissions go directly to the nonprofit ISN. The content of our site is not influenced by sponsors. Ads appear as typical graphic content and/or say "Advertisement" or "Ad". We often display names and/or logos for our major donors, usually saying "Thanks to" with a link to their site, however it is not accompanied by product sales information.

We also sell books written and produced by our nonprofit organization, such as the Voices of Scleroderma book series. All the book royalties go to the nonprofit International Scleroderma Network.

The ISN offers to make and post free homepages for ANY scleroderma support group in the world (in any language) on the SCLERO.ORG website, regardless of a group's affiliation(s) or lack thereof. However, we do not list support groups that openly promote only a particular type of treatment for scleroderma.

The International Scleroderma Network also operates the Scleroderma Webmaster's Association (SWA). The SWA offers free services to its webmaster members and to site visitors alike.

The SWA's popular Scleroderma Sites to Surf! program helps people find scleroderma information worldwide. The SWA gives descriptions of websites along with webmaster qualifications so that people can readily select the source and type of information they need.
