Katia: Fenomeno di Raynaud con Sclerodermia Diffusa

Pink Rose and Butterflies by Shelley EnszSono la sorella di una malata di sclerodermia diffusia. Lei ha 42 anni; un anno e mezzo fa le é stato diagnosticato il fenomeno di Raynaud. Come conseguenza ha avuto una crisi renale sclerodermica che le ha alzato la pressione provocandole un'ischemia.

E' attualmente ricoverata in ospedale in seguito ad un'insufficenza renale sclerodermica. La malattia è al momento in fase acuta. Mostra un indurimento della pelle (al 3° grado) che ha colpito mani, braccia, tronco e gambe. Ora é ricoverata perché la malattia ha coinvolto anche i reni ed è a rischio dialisi con indurimento cutaneo di terzo grado.
