Ce este Scleroderma Limitata?

Scleroderma Sistemica este clasificata pe categorii, in functie de implicatiile pielii: Difuza, Limitata, sau Sindromul CREST.

Sindromul CREST, poate sa afecteze sau nu pielea, (nu este o regula).

Limitata este limitata in zona miinilor ( dar pot sa fie si zona fetei, si a gitului implicate).

Difuza atunci cind este afectata pielea din zona incheieturii miini, si coate.

Scleroza Sistemica Sans Scleroderma cind sint afectate de organele interne (se fibrozeaza), fara ca pielea sa fie afectata.

Limitata: Diagnostic

Diagnosticul acestei forme, se pune atunci cind pielea este afectata in zona degetelor, si prezinta ulcere, (rani) (efecte secundare ale sindromului Raynauds) si/sau fibrozarea plaminilor.

Scleroderma Limitata, in mod fregvent, cauzeaza probleme Raynaud si probleme ale esofagului. Ocazional, pot sa apara afectiuni ale organelor interne, dar asta in general dupa multi ani de boala. Progresia bolii, este foarte inceata, si aspectul pacientului ramine bun!
