Great Time at ISN Benefit Concert by Jazz for Peace!

Jazz for Peace with Rick DellaRatta performed a terrific live and cybercast benefit concert for the ISN at Kavehaz in mid-Manhattan, New York, on Saturday, December 4, 2004.

"We had a fabulous time, from start to finish," said ISN President Shelley Ensz. "And the event was doubly-special for me, as it was the first time I had gotten to meet many other ISN representatives."

To top the event off, Joanne hosted a weekend get-together for some of the out-of-towners at her lovely home in New Jersey. The food, the company, the laughter was all fantastic!

If you were unable to make this world-class jazz event, you may still participate in the ISN spirit this holiday season by joining and/or supporting the nonprofit ISN. Tickets are $25 in advance payable through the Jazz for Peace PayPal account (scroll to ISN concert on bottom left of Jazz for Peace main web page, click on buy tickets) or by calling the ISN at 1-800-564-7099 or 952-831-3091 (U.S.) for both the live concert and the cybertickets.

Concert starts at 6:30 sharp and goes until 7:15. Dinner can be ordered from the Kavehaz menu. People attending the ISN concert are welcome to stay at the Kavehaz for the evening as Jazz for Peace is doing a second benefit concert there immediately after the 45-minute ISN concert.

Rick DellaRatta has been listed as one of the 500 top jazz vocalists of all time in a new book by Scott Yanow titled The Jazz Singers. It will be published by Backbeat Books in 2005 and will be nationally distributed and available in most bookstores.

*Rick DellaRatta and Jazz For Peace performed at the United Nations in New York on September 25, 2002. He led a band consisting Israeli, MiddleEastern, European, Asian and American musicians in concert for an international audience.

*Over the past year, Jazz For Peace has played over 75 benefit concerts across many of New York's finest jazz venues for numerous non-profit organizations in need.
