I remember when you were a small child;
You were cute and sweet, but your teen years were wild!
I always wondered if you'd ever settle down,
Since you were really quite the class clown.

Then you grew up and became a fine man;
You matured very nicely, and had great plans.
Then as it happened, I got very ill;
Of doctors and pain pills, I have sure had my fill.

But you've never complained of the help I need;
You're always here promptly, to do a good deed.
I can't thank you enough for the help you've been
You're a blessing indeed, with the shape that I am in!
