SWA Goals
1. Help Scleroderma Site Visitors
We help Scleroderma site visitors readily find the Scleroderma resources they need by joining all of the SWA web sites together via a hyper-linked logo to a list of all SWA members. This makes it quicker and easier for people to find Scleroderma information on the Internet.
2. Help Scleroderma Webmaster's
We help Scleroderma Webmaster's by maintaining their site listings. We regularly upload the SWA site to over 1,000 search engines in an effort to increase everyone's site traffic, and give members instant high-visibility in the scleroderma online community.
SWA Membership Criteria
Membership is free, however members must meet and follow these criteria:
1. One Full Page
To be considered for membership, at least one full web page must be devoted to Scleroderma-related information, and the qualifying page must be primarily of a non-commercial (non-selling) nature.
2. Hyperlinked Logo
Upon acceptance, members follow the SWA Membership Instructions for posting and linking the SWA logo on their site. The SWA logo is copyrighted property, and may not be used without express permission from the SWA.
3. Legal and Moral
The SWA logo is not allowed to appear on ANY web site or printed page which fails to comply with any legal obligations, including but not limited to, obligations imposed by copyright, secrecy, defamation, decency, and export laws. Neither shall SWA sites knowingly link to such materials. Infractions will result in loss of SWA membership.
SWA Not Responsible for Content
Member sites are not screened for medical accuracy by the SWA. An SWA listing does not imply endorsement or support of any programs. The SWA is not responsible for the content of the individual/organization web links/pages. The SWA does not endorse or condemn any views regarding treatment options for Scleroderma.
