  1. call your gastro blood in your stools is not good. I have ulcerative colitis and I take meds for it and it does help, When I start bleeding I deyhdrate so quickly. So Please call the doctor and get checked it out. Sam

  4. I am so exhausted, I could not sleep last night becasue of Alexia being in the hospital and I had my daughter thing today. I had cooked all afternoon yesterday so I didn't have that much to do but warm up the food. I feel so bad becasue my neices told my sister that I was a mean person. Which I can be when I have something going on like this, I did apoligied and told them I do appreciate everything they do to help. I didn't think I was that bad today, but everyone said they have noticed a change in me that im mean and rude. I think something is going on with me after all, I was drenched all day I am wearing a tank top and I was sopping wet all after noon, I had finally got to sit down and I'm relaxing. Well I have my family here so I am getting off of here. We are having a bomb fire tonight. Well take care, Sam
  5. Thank you everyone, I just got off the phone with Greggy and they have ran all sorts of test and they found nothing. So that is good news, she has been sick and has a ear infection and they said her temp must of spiked up and hits it peak and they is why she is doing that. I know she had another one last night around 10:00. So far nothing today. I thnk they might let her come home tomorrow. We will see. Thanks again every one. Sam
  6. They just took my 1 1/2 year granddaughter to the hospital she was having convulsions. She has never done this before. Thanks Sam
  7. Fatique is one of my main things that doesn't ever go away... I use to take folic acid but really didn't know a difference, I know when I am more tired than usual, I have an infection. If I am tired I take my nap. Wake up when I wake up.

  10. 1 15 ounce can black beans 1 8 3/4 can whole kernel corn, drained 4 green onions, sliced 1/3 cup chopped sweet red pepper 3 Tablesppon snipped fresh cilantro 2 Tablespoon lime juice 1 tsp. cumin 1/8 tsp. salt 1. rinsed and drain beans. In a medium bowl, combine beans corns, green onion, sweet pepper and cilantro. In a small stir together lime juice and cumin and salt. Pour over bean mixture and toss gently to coat. 2. If desired, cover and chill up to 3 days stiring occassionally. Serve salsa with corn chips or baked tortilla chips.
  11. 2 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter 2 green onions, chopped 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 cups sliced cooked chicken 1 cup coleslaw 4 flour tortillas (8 inches) warmed In a large bowl whisk the oil and peanut butter, onions soy sauce and pepper until combined. Add the chicken and toss to coat. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of cole slaw mix over each tortilla, top with chicken mixture. roll up tightly. Serves four
  12. 1/2 cup of chopped onion 2 tablespoon butter 2 tablespoon all purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon white pepper 2 cups of milk 2 cups of cubed turkey breast 1 cup frozen vegetables 2 cups of hot mashed potatoes 1. In a large sauce pan saute onion in butter until tender, Sprinkle with flour salt and pepper. Stir in the milk until blended. Bring to a boil;cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened or bubbly. 2. Add turkey and vegetables;cover and simmer until heated through. Serve over mashed potatoes. Yeild 4 servings.

    Mushroom Rice

    1 (10 1/2 0z) can of beef broth undiluted 3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice 1 jar (4 1/2 0z) of scliced mushrooms, drained 1/4 cup butter, melted 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion Salt 1. in a 2 qt microwave safe dish, combine all ingrediants. cover and microwave on high for 4minutes. 2. Microwave at 50% power for 12 minutes. Let stand for 5-10 minutes. Stir before serving. You can add roast beef from the deli you can use chicken broth instead of beef broth, you can stir in cooked chicken, turkey or shrimp. A green salad on the side

  17. Well I was going to post I know I am late a salsa recipe and sheryl has the same one I have. I also like cutting up tomatoes jalepeno or chili pepper to taste onion celantro add lemon juice salt and pepper too I have no idea what this is called but it is good fresh..
  18. Who do not live in The States. I want something that is made in your country that maybe I have never had before. I in return will post a few cookies recipes or candies that is made over here that you have not tried before. This can be really fun do a cookie recipe exchange. Like how some people do a cookie exchange for the holiday's.Thanks Sam

    Hot Cider

    1/2 cup of brown sugar 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. whole cloves 1/4 tsp. salt Dash of nutmeg 3 inch piece of cinnamon stick 2 qts of cider Boil remove cloves and let simmer 20 minutes Strain and serve

  21. Raspberry jello 1 big pkg. Pineapple and juice cranberry sauce in a can like ocean spray 2 cups of hot water put jello in bowl add hot water and stir in cranberry sauce and add crushed pineapple and stir and put in the fridge and let it set. I believe my mom puts fresh cranberries in this too. i do know you have to cook the cranberries before adding them in.

    Bread Pudding

    7 slices of bread 4 eggs 2/3 cup sugar 6 cups of milk nutmeg Bake at 350 for 1 hour or more. now I'm assuming you lay the bread down in the pan; beat eggs and sugar and add milk and nutmeg and pour over bread. this is my grandma's recipe and its really good. Sorry about the directions that is how she had it written her book.
  24. it sounds like dry skin, I really dont know if its related to sclero but you can mentioned it to the doctor and he can tell you what to put on it. I use an over the counter lotion and just love it. You can PM me for the brand name, if you want. Sam
  25. Truman that sounds really good. I am going to make that this weekend I think when I have more people over. I think I will add some cinnamon and raisins too. Sounds yummy thanks I really like rice pudding as well as bread pudding.
