  1. Hi Shelley, Thank you for taking the time to write back. Sadly, in India we don't have any support group or wound care centres. So we have to solely rely on our doctors for any kind of help or medication. While I do understand it is imperative to consult the doctor, it is always to good to know of other's experiences. You never know what you could learn from that.
  2. Thanks Jo. Hopefully it heals soon and I am able to get on with life normally. It can be such a distraction from our daily routine. It's very difficult to focus on something when you are in constant pain.
  3. Hi, I have been a systemic sclerosis patient for over 12 years now. I am 31 years old. Along the way I developed several digital ulcers on my fingertips. However, for the first time in 12 years I have developed one such ulcer on the right big toe. It is on the corner where the nail meets the skin. It is very painful and uncomfortable. I cannot wear closed shoes because it is painful and if I wear open footwear, I am either stepped upon or I hit my foot into daily objects. Have any of you experienced ulcers on your feet? If yes, can you please tell me how you dealt with it and things you did to make it less painful . Thanks!
