  1. With my scleroderma, my hands wrists and arms past my elbows have tightened skin. Can’t make a fist since May. Can’t bend my wrists and getting harder to bend my elbows. Having occupational therapy but does seem to be helping. Taking Cellcept and Humira. Has anyone known for this to loosen up? Also starting to feel the tightness in my thighs. Also painful due to rheumatoid arthritis.
  2. I am now on Cellcept. Was talking Methotrexate and Humira (adalimumab) for RA. Had a flare with scleroderma with hands, fingers and wrists being stiff. Have had CREST and Raynaud's for many years. Since stopping Methotrexate and Humira my legs are so painful and weak. I don't feel Cellcept helping except my awful joint pain is gone. I’ve had an echo and have a little stiffening in my heart muscle. Which heart doctor said has nothing to do with scleroderma. I have an appointment with a scleroderma specialist soon. Hopefully will get some answers.
  3. I have had scleroderma for 20 years with no problems until I had a flare with rheumatoid arthritis (RA.) Mainly had Raynauds and CREST, but kept under control. Hands and wrists, fingers now stiff up to my elbows. Searching for a specialist. I was in a forum with RA sufferers and found very helpful. This one a little different hoping I’m doing this right. I had a very busy job in medical field and was very active at work and in personal life. A month after I retired at 65 RA kicked in. (lol) Should have kept working. Hoping to get some insight from you all. Thanks.
