  1. Hello, okay I have a question, I had surgery in 2004 on my neck. I have a neck fusion c45c67 and have 2 cadaver parts for discs a metal plate and 6 screw. Two years later I was diagnosed with scleroderma crest. I get asked by family and friends if it is possible to have gotten it from a cadaver part. I asked my doctor but they say no. I thought I would throw that out there to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. Jetta
  2. Thank you , funny thing a friend just gave me some of that liquid bandage, I have been using it the last couple of days and it has helped and it keeps a thickness over the split holds it a little more together, the thumbs are the worst for me, they get very deep a split far apart, so using zippers or buttons keeps opening them, bandaids are annoying to me they keep coming off. thanks again Jetta
  3. If anyone lives in New Mexico can suggest a good Sclero doctor. I live in Sandia Park outside Albuquerque. I have a rheumatologist here but I am at the point where you just check in every 2 months for med updates or refills and not getting much in info. Sorry if my typing gets bad fat fingers small keyboard. Thanks Jetta
  4. sorry to hear that Sam, it took me 3 years to get mine. Are you using an attorney? Also depends which State you live in. I got mine in Florida only 50% get SSI. An attorney is about mandatory these days, I had to go to court after being denied 3 times. Hang in there, I am new to the forum so I am not sure of your history with SSI, take care, Jetta
  5. Thanks for the info, I also use udder butter, I use olive oil, and lavender, rosemary eucalyptus in an oil base. Maybe since Im Italian my body is used to the olive oil : ) Jetta
  6. Hello, I am new to the forum and I am trying to find some helpful remedies on oils, or lotions that may help especially during the cold months. My hands and fingers are getting very deep splits in them and my fingers are swollen. I know the skin is starting to really get thick especially the back of my hands. Thanks Jetta
  7. Hello, I was on methatrexate for 9 months and got nothing from it, but have been on cellcept for almost 2 years now. I have not had any headache problems from it, but I know for myself coming off of it causes breathing issues for me. Good Luck Jetta
  8. I have had emg's done for my upper body. Both arms the first time it was a bit uncomfortable and that was in 2006. The second one was done in 2008 about 6 months ago and I did not feel it at all. The needle marks lasted a long time little brown spots but I just figured it was part od sclero.
