Hi everyone. I have been reading things on the forum for several months but only today got the nerve up to post. I am desperate. I just turned 30 a week ago so I should not feel this bad! Since March I feel huge changes in body that get progressively worse. It might have started before that, but I didn't notice much until very recently. I had a horribly stressful year and struggled with insomnia regularly. This winter I was sick a lot and I was preparing for a trip to Kenya in February, so in the span of a month I had 2 antibiotics, 5 vaccinations at once (DPT, Polio, Yellow Fever, Hepati

I am desperate to find someone who can figure out what's wrong with me. I strongly suspect it's diffuse scleroderma, but my ana is negative so no one is listening. Meanwhile, in a matter of months I have gotten much worse. It just doesn't stop. I was wondering how hard it is to get in to see a scleroderma specialist? I live in NC so Duke is not too far away. I'm not far from Emory in Atlanta either. Do I need to have a previous scleroderma diagnosis or get a physician's referral or can I just make an appointment? Any recommendations in the NC area? Has anyone been to Duke for help? I am f
