  9. Hello Jo, Sweet, Amanda & Buttons, :) The last time I was weighed is visiting my rheumatologist July of this year. I was very pleased at the results. (96 lbs. a petite person & only 4'10"). Unfortunately, it gave me the excuse to eat a little more than I should. :( Now I'm afraid to weigh myself. Oh no!!!! I will avoid being weighed until I see my pulmonologist in Feb. 2012 and try to behave which won't be an easy task. Lol Take care all & hugs Annie

I don't know if this would be considered a hobby, but I love to socialize whether it being chatting or skyping with on-line friends. :emoticon-dont-know: A gift of gab. :P I enjoy reading the daily newspaper, novels, (1 of my fave author is Jodi Picoult), listening to classic rock and putting together large quantity jigsaw puzzles. :) Annie
  12. Hi Jo, Not sure what happened, I made a comment on Zumba, but it disappeared. :( I commend you for taking this up. Before Kendel went off to college this fall, she was trying to pursued me to joining her amongst other young skinny 19 and 20 year olds. I don't think so; I am also uncoordinated, but I do love the Latin music, it's upbeat and peppy. Enjoy and have fun! Take care and (((hugs))) Annie
  13. Hi Shelley, In Susie's chat this morning I made a comment to her and Jo, "I love the new look of the forum!" I'm excited to peruse over it. Thank you very much for working so hard and diligently for this new and exciting transformation. I would also like to thank other people who also worked with Shelley. I deeply appreciate it. Shelley - Annie

  17. Hi Fragiledancer, I was diagnosed with diffuse systemic scleroderma in 1998 and my rheumatologist prescribed Prilosec once a day which I was continually having problems with indigestion. Then she increased it to twice a day,. It worked for a short period of time then lost its effectiveness. I was on it for six months, switched to Nexium once a day, then increased it twice a day and to this day, have not had any issues, except the annoying and tiresome ongoing cough. :( Best wishes on your results of your endoscopy and PH tests. Take care :) Annie

  23. Hi Jeannie, My 10 1/2 yr. old female Yellow Lab, Sunny would be in heaven catching carrot pieces or anything else she can get her paws into. Thank you for sharing. Annie :VeryHappy:
  24. Thank you so much for responding Jo, Buttons & Susie. You all have been so very helpful to me and I deeply appreciate it. :emoticons-group-hug: Jo - I will be reading the Digital Ischemia you provided. My rheumatologist suspects it is, but wants to be sure, so she felt the x-rays would be conclusive. Buttons - I feel my rheumatologist is an expert when it comes to various types of scleroderma. She is a research scientist specifically for scleroderma so I feel that I'm in very good hands with her and I trust her, most importantly, my husband Mike has high regards for her also. Susie - Oh my goodness! Am I ever relieved! I've lost sleep over this since I've spoken to the hand surgeon. It is nice to have a second opinion and know that my rheumatologist is an expert in her field when it comes to scleroderma. :emoticons-line-dance: Special hugs to you all! :emoticon-hug: Annie
  25. I saw my rheumatologist today who I see once a year and she is all for botox if it's warranted for sores that are big and will not heal. I thought I had a calcinosis on the tip of finger, but she feels it's ischemia, or some other type of sore, not calcinosis. She ordered x-rays on each hand taking three different images. The sore is not big enough to have the botox and for the ulcers on the knuckles the botox is not effective. I am relieved that I do not need the botox and hoping the sore will not become worse. :emoticons-line-dance: Annie
