I was diagnosed in 2003 with systemic scleroderma and polymyositis. Dealing with the diagnosis and everything afterward has been an interesting experience, one that I can say has quite challenging. However, as the years have gone by, it all has gotten easier. Things are stable and life is different, but good.
My daily cocktails are little pills and water. I travel through books that I read, I exercise inside in the winter and have been able to start gardening again in the summer. I stop to smell the roses as much as possible.
A good laugh can make your day no matter how you feel.
