I Still Havent Heard Anything About Disability....

7 posts in this topic

Hi all! Well Its February 14 th and it has been two months since I had my hearing and still have not heard anything. I really don't think it right to put someone on hold like that. It is very unprofessional. Every time I call to talk to my lawery he is out doing other hearings. No one calls me back and I am just plain fed up with it. What do you do. Besides wait, I have waited patiently. Well I just need to let that out. Take care, Sam

Oh, Sam, I am so sorry to hear that you are STILL waiting! It just seems rude to me that your lawyer can't even call you back to let you know what is going on. I think if it were me, the next time I called, I would leave a message that indicated I expected a call back within 24 hours!!!

Hope you hear soon!

Warm wishes,

Heidi

Sam,

I am so sorry. That is too long to have to wait. I agree with Heidi. Take Care!

Sam, I was just thinking about you and your hearing. This is absolutely mind boggling to me. I agree with Heidi, I would be all over that man demanding some answers.....then again, I'm not as sweet as you. :D Regardless, you need to be treated with respect and his ignoring you does not inspire much confidence.

Call him everyday, 10 times a day until he calls you back!

Warm and gentle hugs,

Sam, I agree with everyone else. That's ridiculous! Can you get another lawyer?

Oh,Sam, everyone has said it all, but this is beyond ridiculous!!! Hang in there, the system can be notoriously slow.

Maybe try a very pleasant, friendly phone call to your lawyer's office or answering machine every single day until he returns your call. After all, when your ssdi is awarded, he will get 25% off the top. The least he can do is return your call. And a pleasant, daily reminder of your presence might be what he needs! Good Luck.
