Update on my new anti-malarial medication

4 posts in this topic

Hi Everyone,

Hope all you USA folks had a good 4th July with your families and friends!

Just to let you know I finally bit the bullet and stated the mepacrine, it took all the bottle I had to take it. I had a day that was just so painful. My wonky painful elbow was getting worse, I could hardly lift it or use it, I had no strength in it. I knew that to start this drug I would have to be backed into a corner and I was!

It's been a week now and so far so good and I'm tolerating it. Once I get past the dreaded 4 weeks I'll rest a bit easier. My elbow pain has almost gone :emoticons-yes: and I do feel a lot better, at least for now!

Thanks for the support I do appreciate it. :thank-you:

Warmth and love,

Lynn

Well done you! :jump-for-joy:

You'll be surprised how mustering the courage to do something you dreaded will stay with you and that will change your life for the better.

Enormous hugs for a brave lady,
