Brown Cresent Moon

Recommended Posts

I was washing up yesterday and noticed a brown patch on the inside of my arm near my armpit. I thought it was an allergic reaction to the type of deodorant I am currently using, which has happened before. But this time, it's not an allergic reaction. It's quite smooth to touch but a little abrasive. Not sure what this means, but I am somewhat concerned. Haven't been to the doctor in a while but it seems like they don't know what to do for me anymore. I stay positive and work hard to keep my mind off of worrying and stress. I'm open to any advice all of you may have. Stay well and stay blessed.

Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Sclero Forum! It is good to have you here and posting for the first time. Are you actually diagnosed with something? What are your symptoms? Do you have similar brown spots elsewhere?

I hope you will come here and post often and tell us a bit more about yourself. I am sure you will find everyone here very warm, supportive and encouraging.....and willing to offer advice and information when we can!

Again, welcome!

Warm wishes,

Heidi

Hi!

It might be worthwhile to call your rheumatologist if you are seeing one or you Primary Care Provider if you are not seeing a rheumatologist yet and ask for a referral to see a dermatologist. He/she will most likely take one look at it and be able to tell you what it is. Then the worry and wondering will be over.

Good luck and keep us posted!!

Sweet

Warm and gentle hugs,
