Four years!

17 posts in this topic

Woohoo, it will be four years next Tuesday since my diagnosis! Still walking and talking and sucking air, as my nurse friends would say, so it hasn't been all bad or at all bad, either. To celebrate, I'm sending everyone on the forum a virtual box of chocolate (the no-calorie kind). Enjoy, my friends! :happy-day:

Go Jeannie, go Jeannie! But I think we should save the carbs for the 14 year celebration! We'll all still be here...I insist!

Take care.

Hi Jeannie ,

Your post brought a big smile today. I was just thinking last week, that it will be 4 years, this month, since they found Gareth's esophageal dismotility and he's doing quite well these days!!! All the horrors I read about never came to fruition.....thanks to the Plaquenil. I hope you can go out and enjoy a delightful dinner/evening. And, since Gareth won't eat chocolate, I will be more than happy to take his box!!! :happy-day:

Take care, Everyone.

Margaret

There must be something in the air! My doctor and I were just talking about it being 3 years ago last July that I was diagnosed with MCTD. There have been a few changes, but nothing I can't live with!!!

Jeannie, since I don't eat chocolate my husband can enjoy my box of chocolates. I am so happy you are doing well and helping this forum and its members grow in strength and have courage to face each and every day. You are doing a wonderful job for all of us. Thank You. I hope we all will be here for many years to come, helping and guiding and getting each other through thick and thin.

Strength and Warmth,

Sheryl

Hi Jeannie,

Congratulations and thanks for the calorie free virtual chocs. Ordinarily I would go for the super mega heavy weight calorie packed chocs, but now have cause for celebration myself as I have finally gained a stone in weight after fifteen months of trying, so happy days!!!

Take care and All the Best

Hi Jeannie,

Congrats on your four years!

I hope you rack up many more Sclero-versaries, because I really enjoyed having those virtual calorie-free chocolates for breakfast.

Here are some balloons to help you celebrate in style next Tuesday.

:happy-day:
