We heartily thank Janet Paulmenn for her donation to tackle scleroderma from 2010 to Present.

The International Scleroderma Network (SCLERO.ORG) is a full-service nonprofit agency. We rely on volunteers as much as possible to give donations the absolute maximum impact for scleroderma. My donation is in honor of the many volunteers who devote so much of their time and much needed energy to ISN. Special thanks go to Shelley and Gene Enze for their corporate office! :thank-you:

When you begin to understand what goes on to maintain this very wonderful forum and all the pages of resources it is absolutely amazing!

This donation was in memory of my mother, for her birthday. For the past several years I have been unable to travel to her gravesite to place flowers, which has made me feel very guilty because she was always the "grave tender" in the family. I have memories of being very little and going to the cemetery with flowers from her garden. Although this year I could have made the trip she always said "you can do more for the living than you can for the dead."

Marjorie Elaine Settle was my husband, David Settle's mother and the best mother-in-law anyone could ever have. When she was diagnosed with scleroderma I thought "oh, this doesn't sound good" never dreaming the same fate would befall me. She was an inspiration to me. She maintained her great sense of humor and never complained. Her birthday is August 13th and this is in her honor.

How nice. And how fortuntate that you knew someone so close that was a help and encouragement to you. Isn't it strange how it's a 'rare' disease, but I have a friend in my congregation is who has it also, and we know of three others in our town.

Hello Miocean

You are the second person I know of who has scleroderma and so did their mother in law. You must miss her greatly.

Take care.
