I have to give Shelley credit for this one. She's our insomnia queen and I'm close behind. I'm trying to actively apply these 4 rules but getting up when you can't sleep is hard. If it's cold, I don't want to crawl out of a warm bed. And then when I finally get to sleep around 4 am, to get up at the same time which isn't 9 am - is hard. Well, now that's it's warmer, I'm really going to try the getting out of bed when I can't sleep rule. When I can talk myself up - it works.
