Hi!

Welcome to the forum! I am glad you found us but sorry you are in the middle of a flare and in so much pain. I can empathize with you about menopause. I think I might be having pre-menopause symptoms....as I am having horrendous night sweats (I wake up several times a night as wet as if I had stepped out of a shower) and think I might be having hot flashes to (my core feels like it is on fire even when my feet, nose and fingers are freezing cold!).

I do hope you can get some relief soon!

Warm wishes,

Heidi

Hello Nightfrog, nice of you to introduce yourself. I'm Steve (one of the moderators here) sorry you are in a flare, but with your positive attitude I'm sure it will be a short one. I don't know if you've noticed, but the more stressed we get, the worse we feel. So if you can manage to keep smiling, you're on to a winner.

Take Care,

Hi Nightfrog,

I sure empathize with what you are going through. Having to deal with it is bad enough, but to throw menopause into the mix... just isn't fair :( !

I spent many years peri-menopause and menopause, now on the last leg of it... I hope <_< . For eight years though...I wasn't able to perspire, due to the collagen... so when I was finally able to this summer... I was ecstatic! I know that must sound strange. However, when it gets warm and the body's "cooling system" doesn't work... It's really miserable  ! I wish you a speedy menopause and hope you have more good days than bad.

Hugs, Susie

Welcome Nightfrog!

I'm sorry your pain is so frustrating. I hope you can find some things that will relieve it. I've provided a link for you at the bottom of this message that are some ideas for naturally relieving your pain.

I start the whole perimenopausal thing right after I was diagnosed. When the hot flashes started I thought they were going to drive me nuts, but instead they kept me warm. Now that I'm post-menopausal, I'm thrilled - one less thing to deal with! I hope your journey through this phase in life was as easy as mine.

We're very glad that you are here. Please visit us often.
