If it doesn't rain it pours!

Recommended Posts

Well my luck is going from bad to worse, I decided to start this week off by doing a nose dive in the bath! I broke my humerus and was stuck in the bath. Had to be hoisted out as I couldn't move. What a nightmare! And now I can't use my arm and am in pain to add to all the other issues. Makes me despair sometimes, but as they say what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

Oh no, Jean: what an absolute pain!! :emoticon-crying-kleenex:

I'm so sorry; it must be very awkward, painful and difficult for you. It's the long bone at the top of your arm between your shoulder and elbow, isn't it? Poor you; I shouldn't think it was much fun being hoisted out of the bath either!!

I do hope it's not a complicated fracture and it heals as quickly as possible. In the meantime here's a comforting :emoticons-group-hug: to make you feel a little better.

Kind regards,

Oh Jean! I am of the school of thought that says once you have scleroderma you should only ever have good things! :flowers:

Take care.

Hi Jean,

Oh ouch, double ouch! Now you know why so many people die in the bathtub -- mostly from embarrassment at the very thought of having to be hoisted out, in the raw, no less.

My arm aches for you. May I send you some Get Better flowers and a hummingbird-light warm (pain free) hug?

:flowers:
