Prevalence of autoimmune thyroid dysfunction in postpartum psychosis. Autoimmune thyroid dysfunction represents a potentially strong cause of postpartum psychosis. Therefore, screening for thyroperoxidase antibodies is warranted in patients with postpartum psychosis. Br J Psychiatry. 2011 Apr;198:264-8.
