Yes. Let's hope "better" treatment/medications are offered very soon to those of us who have been offered nothing (to date) that has made a positive impact on the symptoms.

Sjogrens seriously effects the eyes, causing frustrating conditions. As for the mouth, my teeth have suffered greatly. I have had several teeth (nearly half of them), that have essentially "eroded" away. As a result, I am QUITE anxious to see something produced that I, along with so many others will benefit from.

Thanks for posting this link of news for us, Craig.

Is there anyway to see the full article without paying the fee to MedLine? My eyes have been so bad lately. Supposedly they weren't too bad at the othomologist appointment last month. They hurt so bad much of the time. I really would like to know what advances they have made in determining diagnosis and possible approaches to symptom relief.

Hi Mando,

Sorry to hear that your eyes have been so painful. I've tried to find the article in full from another source but can only find the abstract that we've posted.

It does look as if you'll have to pay the fee to MedLine in order to read it in full.

I'm so sorry I couldn't help you!
