Barefut's newest blog has just been published!!

Back To School!

Ahhhh it was back to school for the kids today after their 2 week holiday break - which felt more like a month! I tell you, I couldn't get them out of the house fast enough this morning (Where IS that bus?!) I was easily irritated and felt like my nerves were fried with the first clink of a spoon this morning. I don't do sudden loud noises very well. If I was a cat you would find me clinging to the ceiling by my claws.......Read More!

Enjoy!! :emoticons-clap:

Seriously, Barefut, you're really going to coordinate the whole spaghetti dinner? I rate just fixing a spaghetti dinner for the two of us as max stress. There's something about it that is just one too many dishes to coordinate the timing all at once that it sets my teeth on edge. Maybe an early start, and a team of 20 assistants, will make it more manageable for you. I wish we were all there to help you, and you know we will be, in spirit.

:flowers:

You better start saving spoons right now, as you are going to need a dandy collection of them in April. Here's my donation: :spoon: :spoon: :spoon:

Oh, I am having just too much fun with the emoticons tonight, aren't I?

Yes, Shelley - I think I am a little bit insane! I will have lots of help though and I have a mom who said she'd take care of the dinner part, I'll just have to head up the auction which means soliciting dontions from the community and making sure each team contributes a gift basket, I think it will be less stressful than selling candy bars and making sure people get their mnoney turned in - there are still people who have not turned in their money from last year! *sigh* Thanks for the spoons! I'm going to need them.

Now accepting spoon donations - no amount too small! :spoon: :spoon: :spoon: :spoon: :spoon:

Take care,

Barefut

Hi Barefut,

I am the casualty of the 'cultural gap' here as usual. What is a Spaghetti Dinner? Obviously what we call a spaghetti dinner is the easiest way out of not really cooking at all.

Anyway I appreciate your need for spoons for a fundraiser of any sort so if I can find them I will send you a whole box full. :spoon: :spoon: :spoon: :spoon:

Wow, I did it!!!

Best of luck

Judyt

Hi Judyt,

I had to laugh, as a spaghetti dinner is your way of not really cooking at all, and it is my way of cooking at maximum capacity. :emoticon-dont-know:
