Subscribing to Forums and Topics.

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Did you know you can subscribe to each of the Forums; enabling this option will add you to our mailing list and you'll receive details of each new thread as it commences, so you'll never need to miss any important news!

Firstly go to the forum to which you wish to follow/subscribe and click on the "Follow this Forum" in the top right hand corner underneath the Global Banner. Then go to your profile: click on "My Settings" , then "Notification Options", then go to "Notification Preferences" - "Privacy Settings" and tick the box for "Send me News and information". You can then choose which notifications you wish to use in the box below under "Topics and Posts"; by ticking "Notification method to use for topics in followed forums" this will ensure that you're notified every time a new topic is posted. You can also use the same method to follow a separate topic and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Also the "Notification Options" page allows you to configure how you should be notified of certain events, such as a reply to a topic, a private message, or a new topic.

Please let me know if you would like any further help!

Kind regards,

Thanks Jo,

I had checked every box except "Follow this Forum" and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting email updates. I hope it did it correctly now. I thought it was just me or a mac thing.

:emoticons-thankyou:

You're very welcome, Miocean!

We constantly have updates to keep the forums secure and running smoothly and because of this, some of the older instructions for following the forums are now obsolete.

Kind regards,
