:happy-dance-line:  This is such a great idea! :happy-dance-line:

I have already purchased a couple of things. I also emailed this link with information about the website to my friends in hopes that they will shop Amazon this way.

I suggest this link is posted frequently, or that people respond to it every time they use it so that it moves up in the forum. I know I do a lot of shopping online as it is sometimes difficult for me to get out.

  Happy shopping and helping scleroderma.

:thank-you:

The cushion to sit on makes my calcinosis a little less painful. Today I ordered a table to paint on. Not only am I able to get things to help me, I am helping the International Scleroderma Network!

Living in a small town it is somtimes hard for me to get the things I need so I often purchase them on Amazon.

I signed up for Amazon Smile and told my family and friends about it.    They are also going to sign up for amazonsmile.com.

Thank you for letting us know about amazonsmile.com.

Thank you, Sweet, Kathy, Miocean, and Quiltfairy!  Every little bit helps our cause. I shop Amazon Smile for the International Scleroderma Network, too.  I discovered that I have to be careful though as I placed one order under my old login, before I thought to verify that it was on smile.amazon instead of regular amazon. Computers, they are always one step ahead of us but sometimes two steps behind!

Quiltfairy, anything that gets the word out about scleroderma and the ISN is a good thing in my book! If it gets taken up by your local news organisation please let us know. Thanks for this!

Isolation was one of the most difficult emotions I had at diagnosis and being told your disease is really, really rare compounds this. The more people know about scleroderma the less rare it is and the less the sense of isolation for the newly diagnosed, hopefully anyway.

I have let everyone I know about amazonsmile.com. They all say it sounds like a great program and are going to alert family and friends to let them know about it. Several friends have signed up for amazonsmile.com.

Please do remember to get set up with Amazon Smile to support SCLERO.ORG.  They actually do send us some checks from those of us who faithfully shop through the Smile program, and it really does help us tackle scleroderma!

It's especially important to sign up now, before the holiday shopping sets in.  It doesn't "cost" the shopper anything at all, but a small fraction (0.5%) of every purchase goes to the charity of your choice.

The Amazon Smile charity that you want to support is:  International Scleroderma Network .  It's hard to pronounce and harder to spell, so you can just copy it from there to your browser.  Learn more at About Amazon Smile.  And, if you're already registered with them for another charity, you can change it!  Why not change it to help all your friends at sclero.org?  Great idea!  Yes, do this thing now!
