Cardiac involvement (CI) in systemic sclerosis (SSc) : differences between clinical subsets and influence on survival.

 

CI increased the mortality and appeared at a higher rate, especially during the first year after SSc onset and screening for heart involvement should be performed at diagnosis and during follow-up. PubMed, Rheumatol Int, 2017 Jan;37(1):75-84. (Also see Cardiac (Heart) Involvement)
