CellCept Levoxyl

Recommended Posts

I was prescribed CellCept for my diffuse scleroderma . I've been on thyroid meds for many years . Both these meds are to be taken on an empty stomach in the morning .

Question is : is it safe to take them together ?

Hi Wstport,

Welcome to these Forums!

As I’ve never taken either of these medications, I’m afraid I have no personal experience of them to share with you and am unable to advise you about them.

I would therefore suggest that you contact your doctor or pharmacist to obtain the correct advice, as to their dosage and possible interactions with each other.

Kind regards,

Cellcept is an immunosuppresent and Thyroxine is a popular medication for under active thyroid.  I have found no known interactions between these on the databases.

If these are the two medications, they appear safe to be used together, which seems logical as they do very different things.

That said, I would echo Jo's advice to double check with your pharmacy or the prescriber before taking them.
