I have been battling sever dismotility for the past week - Doc prescribed heavy duty relief -ugh - I am so angy about all of this - I wish there was some one to sue - lets face it - the doctors missed it for so long that I am in much worse shape than I could have been - I am sure it will go nowhere - I am still trying to get disability -

Hi JG07,

A lot of us have been in the same situation, and it only took the doctors from 1982 until 2006 to order an ANA blood test for me! I do understand the feeling that you either want them in court or with their head on a platter, but being angry sets off even more flares. I'm sorry that you've also been overlooked like this, and do hope the anger calms down for your health's sake. Disability is another matter, but be persistent; sometimes it takes far longer than we want to get all the doctors to send necessary paperwork to the SSA, and quite often we have to do the legwork of getting it for them. In the meantime, I hope the meds work so that you have something positive going on to help out.

Best wishes to you,

Elehos

Hi JG,

Someone once said two things to me during a bad time I was having:

1. breathe

2. tie another knot and hang on

So sorry you're going through this. Positive thoughts from me to you.

xoxo emmie

Sorry to hear you are so frustrated by your dysmotility problems, JG. It is something which would get any of us down. I have two links which may provide helpful to you. The first is our page on Emotional Adjustments and the second is the page on Gastrointestinal Involvement, with a large section of links on Dysmotility Syndrome. Hang in there, Sweetie.

Warm wishes,

Jefa
