I Have Cold And I Am So Miserable.

Good morning, well its here, fiorst it started off as my gum around my tooth was inflamed and that had gone away now it a full blow cold. I am so tired and dont have energy but I am trying to keep my self up for a bit. My hips are bothering me from laying down well they ache when I am sitting as well. I dont win either way.

I'm so sorry that you are under the weather. Make yourself a cup of tea, grab a good book, wrap those hips in a heating pad, then wrap your whole body in a blanket, and settle in on the couch or bed for a couple of days. When you feel bad like this, you need to pamper yourself otherwise it could get worse.

Stay warm and I hope you feel better soon Darling.

Hi Sam,

Janey gave some great suggestions! Nothing better, in my opinion when not feeling well, than her subscription!

My hubby just got "over" his cold...I nurse-maided him for several days because we didn't want it to settle into his chest (it didn't, thankfully)!

Tis the season for colds, etc.... when there's a change in barometric pressure and humidity, my hips give me grief too.

Hopefully, you are able to settle in to the couch or bed for a bit and start feeling better.

Hi Sam!


We wake up each morning not knowing what to expect. We ahve our days when we aren't able to see past our limitations. But it's also amazing how we bounce back and go on in the world. When you're tired or exhausted, just rest yourself. After a time, get up and go, even when you don't want to. There are some days when I don't want to get out of bed or get upset about how my day is starting. But I'm thankful for being alive, breathing and for have been given a second chance to live. Please take care of yourself with this cold. It can cause a lot of problem without proper care. Take vitamin C supplements, drink a lot of fluids if you're not able to keep food down, take a warm aromatherapy bath (if possible), rest and stay warm as possible (wrap your body in a velvet blanket).But also, get up and walk around for a period of time. Do not stay idle, okay.
