Worsening Raynaud's = Worsening Heart?

2 posts in this topic

I'm just trying to put 2 and 2 together and prepare myself for the next round of tests.

My symptoms:

Fatigue

Increased SOB

Dizziness

Lightheadedness

Worsening Raynaud's

Rapid heartbeat withapnea

So far I only have 3 "ologists" I have yet to add "cardio" to the lot but I'm sure it is inevitable...

Take care,

Barefut

Barefut,

I would definitely add a cardiologist to your list whether it were needed or not. Mine came on board AFTER I got complete heart block. I wish I had seen him prior. He's great and works very closely with my rheumatologist and pulmonologist.

Periodic EKGs should be a standard test for sclero.

A couple of links for you to look at if interested:

Systemic Scleroderma Cardiac Involvement

Raynaud's Phenomenon (RP), Systemic Sclerosis (SSc), and Macrovascular Peripheral Disease.

Please contact one of your "ologists" and let him know about your symptoms. You might recommend seeing a cardiologist.
