Going To The Drs.

Recommended Posts

Okay, so the husband is mad! I have had a migraine for about a week now as well as the beginnings of microstomia as well as pain in my legs that wake me in the night. And I just made the Dr. appt yesterday. Okay, so he can't get me in until next week , still good, eh?

The husband is mad I waited so long. Am I the only one. I sometimes hate going. And my acid reflux is so bad I am throwing up even with a double dose of Prevacid. Sorry forgot that one too.

Just venting I guess, and wondering if I am the only one who does this.

I hope that your day goes well and you don't have any worries.

Hi Kristen, you sound like you are having a bad time! Having migraine and lack of sleep and reflux in combination with worrying about facial changes is enough to make anyone vent. You are certainly not the only one- I have been an absolute pain to live with for the last week or so and have been alternately snappy and weepy due to combination of fatigue, myalgia and tendonitis in my 'mouse' arm just at a time when I had a really heavy workload and deadlines to meet. I feel so much better today, much less fatigued, myalgia gone , even the arm feels better, still lots of work to do but now feel more able to cope. Hope you too are feeling better soon.

Just as Lizzie mentioned... you are NOT alone.

I'm sorry you are experiencing migraines... and for so looong!

I "used" to drink diet sodas, but after several years, noticed how nauseous and migraines always followed... for days. I eventually found the correlation and stopped the diet sodas... I was allergic to Aspartame! I haven't had a migraine since and I DON"T miss them!

Kristen, I hope your dr can get you fixed up in the pain department... being awakened by pain is not good.

Let us know how your appintment goes?
