Tachycardia And Arrythmias?

22 posts in this topic

Last night I had a weird wake up with irregular heart rhythm. It did not last but a few seconds but I know one thing. This MCTD has certain times that certain things act up and last year , I had the same problems at about the same time. So I think it is really related to disease than any medicine or stimulants. Have a appt. coming up with rheumatologist and cardiologist. We'll see but thanks for all the info. Susie54

susie54.

Been thinkin' about you and wondering how you've been doin'... I'm sorry to read that you're having this trouble... hoping you are able to find resolution soon. It can be very disconcerting to have something like this going on, for sure.

Like penandinkwell, I have thyroid issues going on as well that aren't yet resolved. I have an appointment with an endocrinologist on Jan 22, so I hope to have someanswers soon. My issue is hyperthyroid... two goiters, smaller on left side, than on right side.

Take care... Big Hugs,

Susie

Thanks Susie,

I am always wondering how everyone is here as we all have things going on that are not normal at times. I am so inspired when I read how everyone is so strong in handling all that is thrown at them. It inspires me . I am going to the doctor tomorrow to start finding out if I am ignoring too much. Sometimes I tend to do that just because I know it means alot of tests that cost money. Thanks for caring. I will keep you posted. Susie54

Hi to the Susies - I am a Sue. :D

Debonair Susie - good luck with the endocrinologist appt. Please let us know how you make out with that. I am still awaiting my referral but have already gone through the uptake test and scan along with ultrasound, blood work and biopsies.

Susie 54 - let us know how you do at the doctor tomorrow. I hope the appointment is helpful and will answer questions you have.

I'm glad to have found this forum, it sure helps to have contact with others who have issues with scleroderma. It's nice not to feel alone!

I will continue to wish everyone good health and say thanks, this is going to be a helpful place to visit and to make new friends.

Sue

No time to read all the replies but wanted to add my 2 cents.

I've had the jackhammering in my chest lately too. Mentioned it to my Pulmo doctor on Tuesday and he wrote it down but never commented on it so I guess I don't need to worry about it?

It usually happens at night with me but happened at work the other day and was kind of freaky.
