I am also right handed, and my right hand is far more affected; my right foot also (terrible arthritis in my toes and ankles.) Last time I had range of motion measurements my right hand was about half the range and even strength of the left. I can straighten my left hand but not my right. Interesting how most of us seem to be affected on our primary side. The weirdness of this disease just goes on and on, doesn't it.

It is strange how this disease affects one side of our body in quite a few of us! I'm the same way, its mostly on my right side. My right leg has tighten up alot. I have to hold on to my walker when I'm standing up. I stand with my left leg pretty straight and my right leg is bent quite a bit otherwise I lose my balance and start falling backwards. Come to think of it, my toes are more curled over on that foot then my left foot. Weird huh?

Definitely my dominant hand ... the right. I noticed that right off the bat and assumed it had something to do with the fact that it is used more often ...

Let us know what her professional opionion is...

I have to have a turn

I most certainly was initially affected the most on the right hand and is where I got my first Ulcer and my fingers curled the first. Now though, the left hand is catching up quick and finds it hard to tell the difference now
