disability interview

Recommended Posts

I had my disability interview this morning. It was a bit frustrating as I felt the guy was glossing over everything, and was in a hurry. So I hope the person to actually does the medical review knows what they are doing and actually LOOKS and READS all of the letters my doctors wrote. I'll keep you posted.

Sorry I am not participating much right now, but frankly I'm having a hard time even getting through each day.

It's harder than I thought it was going to be having everyone living here. I'm not resting enough and there is so much chaos.

Warm and gentle hugs,

Pamela,

How many people are living with you? That's exhausting. Whenever I have my best friend visit for a weekend I am wiped out for at least a week. Hang in there!

I'm sorry that the guy rushed at the office this morning, that happens sometimes.. They just check to see what you have done and what you dont have done.. I had more paper work to fill out last week and its getting so tireing for me.. Since 2003 this has been going on.

I can only imagine what you are going through with having your family staying with you.. I know you, you will do anything for your family.. But you need to take a break away from the house.. Take your hubby and go..

Take care, Sam

Sweet:

Thinking about you as well. Was it a phone or physical interview?

Mine was phone and last all but 5 minutes.

Don't let the interview be the guide. Did you download the new ruling Nan posted?

Hi Sweet

Just maybe, he rushed through it quickly because he saw that you had everything they needed there! That's my hope for you! ;)

Sam's idea is good...about taking your hubby and running off...

Sending good wishes your way!

Oh Sweet....

I can just imagine your chaos! Sometimes after company I feel like my brains have been scrambled.

Don't try to cater to everyone - and delegate those chores! Also, just tell them you are going to take a nap in the afternoons to recharge your batteries. I know probably easier said than done....

Good luck with the disability stuff. I know that is a stress and I dread the day I ever have to deal with all that.

Hang in there baby!

Love ya,

Take care,

Barefut

Sweet take some time and rest!!!

Don't stress about the interview. That is only one guy who honestly files papers for a living. He has no influence on your case!

Hugs,

Lisa

Thanks everyone!

Sadie - thanks love!

Nan, my son, his wife and their two kids ages 19months and 4 years old are living here for a couple of months before they move to New Zealand. I'm really trying to enjoy it, but it's tough at times! I feel like an emotional wreck!

Sam - you know me too well!!! I am trying to 'let go' some and not stress but it's so hard for me.

Tru - it was a phone interview that lasted an hour and 10 minutes! I guess I'll get a copy of what he took down and I have 10 days to review it and say "Hey that's not right". I have a feeling with the way it went not much of it will be right. I had already sent in ALL OF MY RECORDS AND LETTERS FROM 4 OF MY PROVIDERS. They didn't seem to care..... I'm trying to keep positive about it, but I've worked with government agencies for many years in my profession and they never cease to disappoint me. LOL

Snowbird - I hope you are right!

Barefut - YES SCRAMBLED BRAIN IS WHAT I HAVE. I try to explain it to people and I just call it "over stimulated which makes me feel disoriented"

Lisa - Thanks, that's good to know! I was worried my case was in his hands!

Annie - thank you *hugs*

Just a quick note to let you know you are in my thoughts. I hope that the interview will have went in an entirely positive way. I am sorry you are having to deal with so much chaos. I hope you can get the much needed rest whenever you can.

Warm hugs,

Peggy
