Okay Sheryl:

Just called my ex husband's cousin who lives across the street and told her tomorrow is done day. Told her I'll approach her with a big stick if I find out she cheated. She swears she won't.

Tru,

Good luck!! I'm glad you found a quitting buddy that's close by. This way you can keep close tabs on eachother.

Unfortunately, I still puff away too - what I need is a buddy system..............My husband smokes also, but with his work hours, it's kinda hard to be there for one another..........

Wishing you the very best..........

Congratulations, I knew you would give this a big go. You have a buddy. You can talk each other out of even thinking about borrowing a cigarette or buying a pack. Each time you get the urge just think I can do this give me ten minutes and see if I am even thinking about this. And go get that dreaded drink of water. I have high hopes. You will get through even the roughest of times if you keep a positive attitude. Don't let anything give you an excuse to even take a puff. You don't need it you don't want it. You are feeling great without them. You can breath. You aren't coughing. Think of anything until an urge goes away. Look at the money I saved this week. You go my friend.

Strength and Warmth,

Sheryl

Good Luck, Linda - you can do it. I used to smoke. I had a hard time the first week and kept sneaking. I finally took all my cigarettes, broke them up, put them in water and set it on the porch. Every time I wanted one I would look at how disgusting the cigarette water looked.

Also, I found drinking a glass of water (a nice, fresh clean one) every time I had the urge really helped.

Hugs,

Cheri
