Sweet,

That's awesome!!! I didn't receive a letter saying I got it either. I got a call from Social Security saying I needed to come in and set it up for my son to get his payments. I said well why is he getting disability if I'm not. The lady said that I had been approved. My first check was huge because they did backpay from when I stopped working. My son also gets a monthly check because he is under 18. It is such a relief! I am so happy for you. Sit back and relax. You deserve it!!!!!!! :)

Hi Sweet, I got my disability without any problem. I attributed it to a good thorough application and a long steady work record. Congratulations on getting yours. BMW and I will bring the "special ingredient" for the punch. Birdman

Hugs for All,

Thanks everyone for the congrats. I even dreamed about it last night!

This party sounds like it's going to be a big bash!

One question, if I never get a letter from them, should I contact them? I guess I'd like to see something on paper!

Warm and gentle hugs,

Congrats! I told you that Sclero was usually and automatic if your med recores substantiate the effects of sclero. You should receive written notification some time in the next 10 days. I am so happy for you and I am glad you don't have to worry about this anymore. Now you can relax! Congrats again!!

Warm hugs,

Peggy

That is WONDERFUL news, Pam! That's exactly how it happens... it's always a pleasant surprise to find extra in the bank, especially because you received your disability at last!

I'm doin' the happy dance over here!

Hugs,

Hi Sweet,

Don't worry, you will for sure get a letter, sooner or later. It will tell you, roughly, what they based your disability on and when your first review will be.

Sweet:

I still haven't heard of my decision from disability yet, but I have a question. How did they do direct deposit on the retro payments? Did you supply them with your bank routing number? I can't recall if they asked me for that on the application.

Hey Tru,

First of all I did finally get a letter stating I was awarded benefits. :)

During my phone interview they asked me how I wanted to receive my money IF I was approved - check or direct deposit. I chose the later and yes, then I gave them my bank info.

Good luck to you, I sure hope you are approved!!
