Silly, But I'm Elated

10 posts in this topic

I know it sounds silly, but I'm elated. My younger son stopped over for a surprise visit today and it went so well. It was like the old times. We covered topics we usually relate to and it didn't feel stilted at all (at least I didn't feel it). He was so sweet and I got the feeling things may be okay again. I sent him home with stuffed chicken breasts and got a large hug  .

I hope we're getting back on track again, because I so do miss my sons.

Tru,

So sorry for the mistake. I just assumed that since it was Ryan that informed us of your hospitalization that he was the one to visit you. Hope still goes to you for a full reconcialiation with them both.

Tru,

I know just how you feel as I mentioned before one of my sons walked out when I got sick thinking I was just lazy and ruining his life. He moved to his Dad's 4 hours away. When I landed in the hospital so sick my husband called him and at that point we were touch and go - he wanted to come see me but my husband said no not yet he did not want me upset, anyways I got out a few day's before mothers day and my husband told him he could come home for mother's day. It was great and since then we have been building a relationship again. I had to put the hurt away and somehow I did. So I know how it feels, it feels like thing are right again!
